General information

The writer Multatuli is not well known outside the Netherlands, but his efforts to help the poor people or Indonesia (which was a Dutch colony a hundred years or so ago) made a large division in the Dutch government. His books published around the mid 19th century are made a significant impact. Here you can see part or his history and life.
