General information

This is where you can see the magnificent painting-in-the-round by Mr. and Mrs. Mesdag. Although the museum has several other works by Mesdag, it is the large circular canvas that attracts the most attention. It is a scene or the dunes and beach or Scheveningen with fishing boats on one side and the inland views with the town and people along the other side. To enter the display, one has to climb a small stairway in the center.
